Emma and her collarbone
So I am sure you have all heard that we broke our collarbone almost a year ago by jumping off the top bunk that was a trip to the er then as you have seen she split her forehead open by running into a tailgate at the deer lease and that was a trip to the er and then this week right before we are leaving for the deer lease again she fell off my bed and broke her collarbone again! Yes AGAIN! She wasn't doing anything crazy either just laying on the bed playing on the iPad and boom she rolled onto the floor! This time we did not take her to the er yes go ahead shake your head at me but we knew what happen so put her in a sling and gave some medicine to her and three days later she is going again! She is very cautious with her arm but she is tough! I am sure you probably are wondering or judging me for not taking her in but they will not do anything for a broken collar bone not even give her medicine it is something that will have to heal on its own. They gave us a sling the last time we were there so we put her in it! It was a little swollen so we knew it was broke! I have heard that once she has broke it once that it will be something that might keep happening because it is fragile! So anyhow poor Emma has had a very rough month!
Christmas tree!
Yes this is the first time I have ever put my tree up at the beginning of November! Crazy I know! We have been super busy this month and we are going to our lease for the week of thanksgiving so I decided to put it up and be done! Yay!! Justin is not to happy but momma and the kiddos are soooo excited and ready for Christmas and our elf Buddy!

Turkey
I always hear everyone talking about doing their child's school projects and I swore I would always make my kids do their own! Ha well that came back and bite me in the behind! Braden had a turkey project this past weekend and we put it off till last night which really it was not due till this week but it will be busy this week so we knocked it out but anyhow lets just say I am not a crafty parent at all (hands down to those that are especially my sister n law Nicole) so I waited till Justin got home to help! Well our turkey is a basketball player! Justin cut out his jersey and pants, I did the basketball, number, and feathers! So guess what Justin and I did a project this weekend that we should not have done!! why did we do it!! I have no idea I guess that is what parents do!! The whole time we were doing it we would yell for Braden to come work on it! I am bad to Justin had him coloring and I just couldn't resist I had to do it for him or should I say I went over what he had colored!! Grrr!! We will post a picture of our turkey soon! I forgot to take it this morning! Ooops!

Soccer!
My dad, My hero!
As many of you know my dad has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer! Something we have been dealing with and he has recently had surgery and had it removed we are still in the waiting game on results. But I must say dealing with any situation when it comes to someone you love is very difficult we all deal with things in our on way some are very private, some shut everyone out, some want the whole world to know. I have been mixed on this! My dad is an amazing man! He is a great husband, dad, and grandfather! He does anything for anyone and if I need anything he is there for me in a second! If my kids ask him for something he never hestiates! I know he wants to be strong for everyone in our family and trust me he has but I know that he is very scared, we have a family history of cancer and I think once you have been told you have it, it hits you in a different way almost like a reality check! Life is precious and sometimes you don't realize how precious it is! I am so proud of my dad he has not taken this lightly he knew what he wanted and has had it done! He is now recovering from his surgery I am sure this has been the most difficult part for him but he is doing great! When I was told that he did have cancer it hit me so hard! All of these thoughts were going through my head! I just couldn't imagine what our lives would be like without him! He has no idea how important he is to me and my family! I thank God everyday that the cancer is contained and they were able to remove it and he should be fine! I want to thank everyone for all of their thoughts, prayers, and support along the way!
Hunting time!
Last year was my first year to really hunt, this year Justin, Emma, and me went to our deer lease for a few days and as you probable have read we spent our first night in the ER so the second day we were there Justin got up and went hunting while I stayed and snuggled with Emma since we were in the ER till late, Justin had sent me a text asking if I wanted to shoot a 10pt and I replied Heck yeah! So when I talked to him I just couldn't believe he didn't shoot it there is no reason for this deer to hang around our stand, so we went that afternoon and no deer (no 10pt) saw alot of other deer! The next morning we got up and tried to get Emma situated with my mom in her trailer and of course she was screaming her head off so I told Justin I will just stay and not go but she finally stopped crying so I went. We got to the stand and we weren't in there 50 min and this deer was eating under our feeder! So I got ready and by this time Justin is so nervous he has be nervous and shaking I couldn't close my one eye so I asked him to cover it and yes he thought I was crazy but anyhow I shot him and here he is! I will tell you that was an awesome time!! I had so much fun and I am so glad my husband saved him for me!! As I type he is at the taxidermy to be mounted!! Whoop!
ER trip!
Yep another ER trip with Emma! Justin, Emma, and I went to the deer lease for a few days while the boys stayed at home with Gran and the first night there we spent in the er with Emma! She ran into a tailgate and split her forehead open! Yes it was bad! We thought we could butterfly it ourselves but it was way to deep! So to the hospital we go! The people at the hospital were so nice they took care of her and we were on our way! They first told us we would get stitches but when we talked to the dr he said no he didn't want to scar her anymore then what she would be! So they glued her cut and the next day she never felt it!
