Well we survived yay! What a busy couple of weeks! We hosted themPinder Christmas party on Christmas Eve and we loved it but can't wait for the bigger house! We made some great memories even with me still being under the weather we had a great time! The best present I would say was someone bringing a taser as a gift and Adam (our brother in law) got it and we are the very mature grown ups decided to taser ourselves! Stupid yes I know but such great therapy for laughter afterwards! Christmas Day was great and long! Carter woke up at 2 in the morning running through the house screaming Santa came and justin and I were like no go to bed so he crawled in bed with us and went back to sleep then Braden wakes up at 4 or 4 30 so excited well Justin thought it was time to wake up! I must say seeing their excitement was so worth it! They loved everything and were so thankful for what they got! Spent the whole day with our families and love it! We are truly blessed with some amazing families!! We are sad Christmas is over it has been so much fun even with me being so sick this year but we are looking to the new year with big things for our family!

Christmas cookies!
So every year we try and make those cute cut out Christmas cookies and every year we fail! I swear we have tried everything to make them cute it is just not happening! Lol. They look great when we cut them out and place them on the cookie sheet then they explode when they start cooking! We can't tell what they are! Lol but the kids have a blast making them!
Almost busted!
Ok so being Santa is very hard work! Lol. Especially when you have no place to store presents and you have them scattered from one end to the other! So Justin is on nights so we thought it would be a great idea for him to take all of the gifts to work and wrap them. Ha! So Carter is taking a nap and Braden is playing outside at least we thought with he was at his friends house a few houses down, so Justin and I get everything together in these huge toys r us bags and think we can make it to the truck without anyone seeing us! So I go out the front door with all of these toys which like I said are in huge bags and I as I am going down the front stairs Braden and his friends are coming up to the house between our cars so I make a mad dash to the side of my car to where they can't see me and whew I avoided them but Justin on the other hand decided to lay his bag of toys down on the front porch and go back inside to get more! I guess I should have yelled at him and give him notice but I was just trying to stay out of sight I figured he could turn and go back inside had no idea he just left toys laying on the front porch! So i get my bags in his truck and go up the stairs and see Braden looking in the bag at the toys I was like what the hell! So after doing much rearranging of gifts and rethinking what was from Santa I hope come Christmas morning he does not remember what he saw! Lol. Yeah right that child has a memory like his daddy! Like I said being Santa is HARD!
Santa!
So I hate going to the mall and seeing Santa never really is any fun to me so I always try to do something different. This year there was a community Christmas festival. Santa was flown in by helicopter and the kids thought that was pretty awesome! So we got to take pictures with Santa and write him a letter the kids had so much fun! This year Santa Emma was not to crazy about him! I am telling you she had a death grip on my neck! So of course same as last year momma was in the picture!

Carter 6th birthday!
I am so amazed at how fast time goes by and I feel like it was just yesterday our Carter boy was born! I will be very honest he was not the easiest baby! I mean we were literally done after we had him! He has kept us on our toes and he is so full of energy! He is the one that we worry about what will come out of his mouth! You never know!! We had a great birthday even though it was pouring down rain! It never rains here until that day! I had a big bounce house rented and of course it was canceled due to the weather so we were all crammed into our house made me think we need to build very soon but as a friend pointed out then you wouldn't want all of these kids inside your new house!! So true! But now I know that next year we will have to reserve some place several months in advance! All in all we had a great turn out and he had a lot of fun! I mean what kids don't have fun playing in the mud and rain!!

Baby Chicks!
So last March we got 12 chicks and that are now full grown chickens! We were getting eggs right before time change so now we might get one egg a day! So when we were getting eggs we got 4 to 5 a day and trust me they couldn't not keep up with the Lulues so we decided to go ahead and get more now to where when it does come time to start laying they will be big enough to start with the rest! We will see how it goes right now they are a mess! Hopefully we will have more hens I this ru. Then the last but you never know what you are getting so we will wait and see so be ready if we have to many more rooster you know what we will be eating!! And yes we have killed three roosters and have eaten all three and they were yummy! Lol
Another school project!
Yes we got another fun project that Carter was so excited to do so after several days of coming home to work on it and of course I had not gone to town to get things to do this crafty project Justin and I get a plan together on what WE are going to do (first mistake). So we get everything we need, this is on Fri kids get home and we tell Carter we got everything for his project and of course it is nothing like what he has plan we have no idea what his plan really consist of so we went with ours. We have to make An ornament and decorate it however we wAnted so Justin and I are making it a snow man! So Carter and I start it and of course it is boring and he would rather be outside playing so he is gone and guess what Justin and I finish! We were so proud of our project (promise it was nothing fancy but for us it was GREAT) so when Carter came in for playing we showed him it and boy was he PiSSED! I have no idea what that child was thinking when he went out to play if our idea was changing but he hated it thought it was so stupid!! Boy let me tell you we wanted to tear it in half! Talk about busting Justin and I's bubble! So when he brought it to school on Monday he got in the car and we asked him what his teacher thought and he kinda looked at us and he said she LOVED it and so did he now!! We were like what!!

Emma and her collarbone
So I am sure you have all heard that we broke our collarbone almost a year ago by jumping off the top bunk that was a trip to the er then as you have seen she split her forehead open by running into a tailgate at the deer lease and that was a trip to the er and then this week right before we are leaving for the deer lease again she fell off my bed and broke her collarbone again! Yes AGAIN! She wasn't doing anything crazy either just laying on the bed playing on the iPad and boom she rolled onto the floor! This time we did not take her to the er yes go ahead shake your head at me but we knew what happen so put her in a sling and gave some medicine to her and three days later she is going again! She is very cautious with her arm but she is tough! I am sure you probably are wondering or judging me for not taking her in but they will not do anything for a broken collar bone not even give her medicine it is something that will have to heal on its own. They gave us a sling the last time we were there so we put her in it! It was a little swollen so we knew it was broke! I have heard that once she has broke it once that it will be something that might keep happening because it is fragile! So anyhow poor Emma has had a very rough month!
Christmas tree!
Yes this is the first time I have ever put my tree up at the beginning of November! Crazy I know! We have been super busy this month and we are going to our lease for the week of thanksgiving so I decided to put it up and be done! Yay!! Justin is not to happy but momma and the kiddos are soooo excited and ready for Christmas and our elf Buddy!

Turkey
I always hear everyone talking about doing their child's school projects and I swore I would always make my kids do their own! Ha well that came back and bite me in the behind! Braden had a turkey project this past weekend and we put it off till last night which really it was not due till this week but it will be busy this week so we knocked it out but anyhow lets just say I am not a crafty parent at all (hands down to those that are especially my sister n law Nicole) so I waited till Justin got home to help! Well our turkey is a basketball player! Justin cut out his jersey and pants, I did the basketball, number, and feathers! So guess what Justin and I did a project this weekend that we should not have done!! why did we do it!! I have no idea I guess that is what parents do!! The whole time we were doing it we would yell for Braden to come work on it! I am bad to Justin had him coloring and I just couldn't resist I had to do it for him or should I say I went over what he had colored!! Grrr!! We will post a picture of our turkey soon! I forgot to take it this morning! Ooops!

Soccer!
My dad, My hero!
As many of you know my dad has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer! Something we have been dealing with and he has recently had surgery and had it removed we are still in the waiting game on results. But I must say dealing with any situation when it comes to someone you love is very difficult we all deal with things in our on way some are very private, some shut everyone out, some want the whole world to know. I have been mixed on this! My dad is an amazing man! He is a great husband, dad, and grandfather! He does anything for anyone and if I need anything he is there for me in a second! If my kids ask him for something he never hestiates! I know he wants to be strong for everyone in our family and trust me he has but I know that he is very scared, we have a family history of cancer and I think once you have been told you have it, it hits you in a different way almost like a reality check! Life is precious and sometimes you don't realize how precious it is! I am so proud of my dad he has not taken this lightly he knew what he wanted and has had it done! He is now recovering from his surgery I am sure this has been the most difficult part for him but he is doing great! When I was told that he did have cancer it hit me so hard! All of these thoughts were going through my head! I just couldn't imagine what our lives would be like without him! He has no idea how important he is to me and my family! I thank God everyday that the cancer is contained and they were able to remove it and he should be fine! I want to thank everyone for all of their thoughts, prayers, and support along the way!
Hunting time!
Last year was my first year to really hunt, this year Justin, Emma, and me went to our deer lease for a few days and as you probable have read we spent our first night in the ER so the second day we were there Justin got up and went hunting while I stayed and snuggled with Emma since we were in the ER till late, Justin had sent me a text asking if I wanted to shoot a 10pt and I replied Heck yeah! So when I talked to him I just couldn't believe he didn't shoot it there is no reason for this deer to hang around our stand, so we went that afternoon and no deer (no 10pt) saw alot of other deer! The next morning we got up and tried to get Emma situated with my mom in her trailer and of course she was screaming her head off so I told Justin I will just stay and not go but she finally stopped crying so I went. We got to the stand and we weren't in there 50 min and this deer was eating under our feeder! So I got ready and by this time Justin is so nervous he has be nervous and shaking I couldn't close my one eye so I asked him to cover it and yes he thought I was crazy but anyhow I shot him and here he is! I will tell you that was an awesome time!! I had so much fun and I am so glad my husband saved him for me!! As I type he is at the taxidermy to be mounted!! Whoop!
ER trip!
Yep another ER trip with Emma! Justin, Emma, and I went to the deer lease for a few days while the boys stayed at home with Gran and the first night there we spent in the er with Emma! She ran into a tailgate and split her forehead open! Yes it was bad! We thought we could butterfly it ourselves but it was way to deep! So to the hospital we go! The people at the hospital were so nice they took care of her and we were on our way! They first told us we would get stitches but when we talked to the dr he said no he didn't want to scar her anymore then what she would be! So they glued her cut and the next day she never felt it!

Camp!
So this summer we spent a lot of time not as much as I had hoped but more then we had at camp working on it! This weekend we went up there to mow but of course it rained the entire time we were there! So we get there and of course I get overwhelmed every time we go because there are times where I feel like we will never be done but I know the end result will be so worth it! We thought we weren't going to get anything done but we actually got the wall I needed to paint done, bathroom sink fixed and working, and got our toilet set. So yay for us! When we left we felt like we got another step done! We love being there it is so nice and peacful! Even with all of the work we have to do we still manage to relax! Can't wait till we are finished!
Braden's 8th birthday!
As the kids get older birthdays seem to get easier! The kids like simple and fun and I am all over that! This year we just had a family dinner with both sides and it was so nice! We just kicked back and got to visit with everyone. Then we let him have about four or five friends sleep over the plans were to go play laser tag but the weather was nasty and I didn't want to travel with all of the kids (yes I am one of those paranoid moms) so we hung out here had pizza, roasted marshmallows, the kids played football, hide n seek, wrestled like crazy! We did enjoy them they are a great group of kids! Had a little fighting sat over electronics so we finally got smart and put everything up to keep from kids getting feelings hurt or the mean ness! But overall I think they all had a great time!
Our first 5k
This year we do a 5k for Baylor! It was for the Be the one run for bone marrow! Was for a great cause! I am so glad that they asked us to join them! Yes it was hard to get up that early and I am not sure that many of us wanted to but we all did it and are proud of ourselves for pushing through!
Career day!
Today was Career day at school and Carter wanted to be a cowboy! So we dug out all of his cowboy stuff like boots, jeans, cowboy shirt, chaps, cowboy hat, and the belt. Let me just tell you that the chaps were way to small, the boots were old, and his belt was almost to small! It has been hot so I have not done the official boot ect type of shopping yet! But that little boy didn't care anymore then the men on the moon that things were to small! He got all dressed up jeans tucked in his boots and was ready for school! We were waiting on the bus and he had his hand on his belt buckle and he told me that this was how real cowboys stand they have to hold there buckle up because they are so big!! I love my kids they always say something that puts a smile on my face even when the whole world is falling apart!

School bus time!
Yes you heard the school bus! So Carter has been begging us to ride the bus he think it would be so cool and we keep telling him no that I can pick him up and bring him! Well our neighbor walked over one day and asked me if Braden and Carter could ride the school bus with her because that was the only way her mom would let her ride it! Well with a lot of talking and thinking and stressing we gave and and let them! Thinking they would hate it but guess what they love it! I guess it makes them feel big or something! Itis nice not having to wait in pick up line or waking Emma up to bring them!
Little update on school!
So we have made it through the first month of school and it was been good! We love the kids teachers they have been amazing!
We will start off with Carter! Carter is in class with several of his buddies from daycare and baseball thought it would be rough but they are all doing great! Carter has gotten in trouble I guess you could say from playing on the water in the restroom with his friends imagine that! Bad thing is he told us and we never got a note from his teacher so he ratted himself out!! Love him! Lunch room! So he decided that he wanted to buy his lunch everyday so I was ok with it well he has not once told me anything was gross till yesterday! This month they have gone to a different lunch menu kinda the healthy stuff so when carter got home I asked him how lunch was and he said it was GROSS!! That kid loves salads he would eat them everyday so he got salad that ahead pepperoni and some white cheese in it and it was terrible so guess what today he said mom I think I will bring my lunch!!
Braden had a rough start this year only because he likes to sleep so getting up early was not fun but he is doing great this year! He is trying out for the UIL spelling and math! This year he has one of his good friends in his class and they sit at the same table him two other girls and another little boy which was on our base ball team, well this little boy I guess is a special aid little boy and he is super sweet so innocent! His mother passed away this year he didn't live with her and not sure if he had much to do with her his dad has been raising him but he was having a really rough week during this time and we have always told Braden to never be mean anyone especially kids that have a disability... Anyways as a parent you always wonder if our children listen well we got a sweet text from his teacher telling us how amazing our kids (the group that sits with this little boy) are that they have helped there friend out and they were playing a game in class and they never got fustrated with him and help the entire time! That was an amazing thing to hear! We are so proud of our kids and we know they have a big heart!

Bless you!
Oh the words we are picking up!! I think this is one of the cutest ones she can say!! When ever anyone sneezes Emma loves to say Blesh you!! It is so cute!! Right now with the boys at school she is constantly asking "Where Braden and Carter" she loves her brothers!!
1st day back to school!
So we are in the swing of school time again! Both of the boys were excited not real sure if it was because they were getting bored at home with me and Emma but the first day was great! Braden got Mrs.Davis and she is super sweet! She sent the kids a postcard in the mail telling them welcome back to school with a sweet note! Braden has one of his best friends Holden in his class along with some others that have been with him since kindergarten! Hope he has a great year!! Braden is super smart but he told Justin he doesn't like school he is very much a home body unless he gets to go to his friends house then that is a different story! We are not looking forward to all of the homework this year!! Yikes!!
Carter has been so ready for kindergarten that he had no problem on the first day! I think mommy had the hard time! He was such a big boy he kept asking me when I was going to go home!! We have to meet in the cafeteria on the first time and listen to the principal give us a speech then we sent our kids with their class and we sat there for so long Carter thought it was lunch time he wanted to open his lunch and eat!! Imagine that!! That kid loves food! He has several friends in his class that he went to Mrs. Alis with and that were on his baseball team so hopefully he will have a great year!! He was tired when we picked him up but the first thing that came out of his mouth was he was HUNGRY!! Haha love it!! Braden was pretty quiet about his day all he said was they did some fun things!! Couldn't get much more out of him!!
Carters first thought on the first day was how he was going to do soccer after school because he has to get up way to early for school and he was going to be very tired so he needs to take a long nap!! He did to, he told me when it was nap time he was the last one sleeping and they had to wake him up!!
I sure do miss these two when they are gone! Yes they fight like crazy when they are home and it drives me bat shit crazy but all in all they are my babies and I miss them terribly right now!! There are so many little things that I miss!! Watching them grow up and being at home is such an amazing blessing that GOD has give us right now but it is super hard!! I want them to stay little forever!! There is no words to describe a mothers love my mom use to tell me this all the time and I truly understand her now! My kids will never know how much I love them even when I am screaming at them because they are fighting or whining!!

Meet the teacher!
Carter is starting kindergarten and he is very excited!! He has been waiting to go to big school with his brother for awhile now!! We got to meet his teacher and lucky us we got Mrs. Hicklin this year!! Mrs. Hicklin was Braden's kindergarten teacher and we loved her!! Carter was hoping to get her to!!
End of summer!
Well the summer is finally coming to an end! We had alot of fun this summer doing things here and there. Our last trip was to the deer lease which our whole family loves going to! Every time we head that way we swear we will move there one day it is so peaceful but I am sure if we moved it wouldn't be so peaceful! It is almost like as soon as we get there the stress is gone from my mind and I more relaxed then ever! Can't wait for Thanksgiving where we will spend the whole week!! The kids love watching the deer it is just hard to keep the quiet!

Chicken!!
So we got our chickens in the spring time and don't know really what I was thinking that we would have eggs pretty quick but no lets try 6 months!! Braden went to check on the chickens the other nights and found our first egg!! They are very tiny when they first start laying!! So we have a gotten one egg a day so far!! Yay the kids are very excited!!
Emmas Second Birthday!
I can't believe she is 2!!! I guess that means time for number 4!!! Had a great birthday we celebrated with lots of family and friends!! Emma I feel like is doing things that her brothers never did at her age but I guess with two older ones she is learning alot more!! She can be so sweet and girly and then turn and be dirty and rough!! She talks to much! I love this stage where they are learning new things!! Someone asked her the other day what her name was and she looked at them and said "I don't know" and smiled and walked away!! I love that little girl!! She loves her brothers to she is always asking where they are if they go somewhere and she loves our dog dixie!!
Camping trip!!
We went on our summer camping trip and had a great time with family and made lots of new memories!! Mark, April, Kendall, Kaden, Aunt Brenda, Mom, Dad and all of us went camping!! So glad that everyone joined us!! Braden caught a fish while fishing on the back of the boat one evening by himself he was so excited! It was not his first catch but this was the only time he has ever gone fishing baited his own line and caught something!! Emma rode the tube!! She loved it!! Braden wanted to be more of a dare devil this year wanted pawpaw to sling him around just to bad pawpaw didn't have a boat powerful enough like he did when I was little!! Carter is getting a little better still scared some what but hopefully next year he will like it more! We roasted smores every night and the kids loved it! It did rain almost every day there but at least it made it cooler for us to sit outside wasn't so hot and miserable!! Emma is not to fond of the water but towards the end of the vacation she started liking it a little more so hopefully she will soon love it just like everyone else!! Carter also has learned how to swim with no floaties!! yay!! he is very thrilled about it to!!

End of the year!
Well very late on my blogs but here I go! Carter had his pre school graduation which was bitter sweet! Our baby will be starting kindergarten (if mommy gets him enrolled) but he is very excited about starting big school with his brother! It was final day at the daycare we love My Friends and Me! We could not have asked for a better place for our kids to stay and the staff is amazing! Braden has now ended his year as a 1st grader we had our ups and downs this year but overall we are very proud of him! He made the A B honor roll and got rewards for his AR points! We also ended our season of baseball which was sad! We had amazing teams this year with such great parents it was sad when it all ended! The boys played great and have improved so much!

April where did you go!
Lord where has the time gone to! All I know is Justin woke me up this morning and said do you know today is May 1! I just can't believe how fast the days are going! The countdown is on till summer time! Braden is very ready to be done with school while Carter is waiting excitedly for the first day of kindergarten! I wonder how fast that will change! Emma is saying more and more proper words and we are starting the introduction of the potty! So far not good but it will with time! She runs to her potty but by time she is there she has peed all over the floor! This is usually before or after bath time!Carter is playing tball and he is doing pretty good hard to think this is his last year for it will be moving to coach pitch next year! Braden is doing awesome we are so amazed at how he has grown to love baseball compare to this time last year! He hit a in the park home run couple of weeks ago! He was so excited! We are so proud of our boys we love watching them play! We recently got us some chickens they are zebra looking ones....gray and black very cute! We built them a chicken coop and have loved watching them turn for baby chicks to now chickens! Hopefully in the next few months they will start laying yard eggs!! We will see this our first time for this but so far we have fun with them we let them out during the day and watch them walk around the land!! Emma was not to sure about them at first but now she goes out and checks on them! Mom and dad went camping a few weeks ago when our last cold speed came through and the boys wanted to go ca,ping in a tent so I figured well this will be the only time you might get me in one so we went and met them and pitched a tent!! I must say wasn't to bad but my bed was very nice to come home to the next day I think my back appreciated it more then anything! It was to cold for swimming so the kids met some other ds in the park and they rode bikes, played frisbee, and we roasted s'mores! We had a lot of fun was just one of those weekends we didn't have to worry about anything they just played!!

Makenna!
This past weekend we got to keep baby makenna and she is so sweet! Emma thought she was her baby doll and wanted to hold her and feed her and the boys couldn't wait for her to get here! I think my mom was hoping for me to get baby fever and I honestly think it did the opposite of that. We loved having her but it was nice to send her home to! It reminded me of all the things I worried about when mine were that little the pumping and making sure I was producing enough milk staying on a tight schedule having to pack and go everywhere....ect!Emma is at the age where I can just go she keeps us very busy but it is a lot easier right now for us!
Progress
As must of you know the land that we bought a little over a year ago was something I could have never seen us buying or should I say me, but we did and it was the worse condition ever but I am very excited to say that with spring in the air and everything blooming and turning green I am just amazed at how far we have come. I cAn finally say it is starting to feel like home here. At first it was a huge adjustment for me for many different reasons but I have come to terms and I know that this has been the best move on our part! The house plans/ideas are starting nothing major I just know that Justin and I are two people that have gotten very laid back and it is hard for us to make decisions so I figured the earlier I start the better off I will be when the actually house plans on paper start!! So we are very excited for what our future holds and know that it changes daily!

Lent and first day of tball!
So we all try and decide on things to give up for lent and I am not a big junk eater I don't drink sodas so I thought everyone keeps talking about giving up facebook some might think why but really I have tried to stay away from it so I decided what a better way to take a jump start on things! This year I am giving up Facebook for several different reasons. One I am tired of the drama....peoples constant post of what they are doing each second of the day....people that try to make their lives seem perfect but are far from that...people getting upset over things you do that hurts there feelings and you never knew you did....I feel like facebook is a place for family to catch up with each other and I think that is good but I feel it is becoming a battle with everyone! I think some like to do the same things to others that upset them about you I mean it is just ridiculous so yes I am staying away from Facebook!
Today was Carter's first day of tball and he did awesome!! I was so proud of him! Braden has been doing amazing also!! I am so proud of my boys I love watching them play!!
On a different note we went to camp this past weekend and even though I was very under the weather I wasn't much use for anything but we did get running water finally!! Yeah super excited!!

February!
So we are only into this month by seven days and boy has it been a busy one! Like I said in earlier post that Emma can climb the bunk beds in the boys room well guess what she fell off the top and broke her collar bone. Mommy didn't realize for a day and a half that she did. We took her to the er and they X-ray her and put her in a sling all in about an hour! Pretty impressed! She is doing great though she gets better each day!! Thank the lord nothing worse happened!
January!
Wow where did this month go!! We went and stayed at camp for the first time in about two years and we loved it!! We forgot how much we love going there! The kids played from the time they woke till we laid them down! We are just so relaxed there! We have a long ways to go before it is complete but it sure felt good to stay there again brings back lots of good memories!

Emma!
She tends to crack us up more and more! Between her and the boys there is never a dull moment! Listening to them sing in car can be the most nerve racking thing ever but Justin and I just look at each other and smile! Emma just scream and weird kinda hum and the boys actually do sing the words to the songs! But however it is it is really funny to us! Emma has started climbing the bunk bed in the boys room no this is not good!! She has no fear! Today she put her blanket over her head and ran into the wall and Braden and I laughed at her well she laughed at first but the. Ran to Braden and was sticking her tongue out at hi and blowing spit at him! Which then made the two of us laugh even harder at her!! I wish I could have videoed it!
Christmas day!
So we had one child that woke at 3 am and the other at 5 30 so needless to say we were tired that day! The kids were so excited they all unwrapped everything then little miss Emma went back to bed she loves her sleep!! We went to Justin's dads and did Christmas with him then headed out to our deer lease! We spent nine days there and loved every minute of it! It was so nice and relaxing the kids played from the time they woke up till they were wanting to go to bed at eight that night! They never stopped! Justin got him a spike and I shot two does! I had so much fun! Can't wait to go back this year! We meet some great people along the way and enjoyed everyone's company! We celebrated new years a day to early cause new years eve nobody was in the mood to drink!! We just had a blast!! Thank you everyone for the great memories made!
Christmas eve!
We spent the day with all of our family! First we went to Jim and royas where we had lunch with Travis, Katrina, and jc! We exchanged gifts with the kids and enjoyed everyone's company! The kids played some twister and even uncle Travis tried to get in the game but we all agreed that the mate that comes with the game has shrunk!! After there we left and went to my Aunt Carolyn's house to visit with everyone! Always enjoy being with them! I didn't grow up with them but since I have became a mom I realized that family is very important and my kids should know each and everyone! They have opened there arms to us and our kids and have made us feel so at home and loved and we are truly blessed and thankful to have them in our lives! The kids love them and are always excited when we get to see them, they are all always there for us when we need help with the kids and for that we are very lucky! Thank you for all you do for us and our kids we love each of you! After there we left and went and had Christmas with Justin's family at aunt Lynn's! We always have a great time there! We let the kids do a little gift exchange and then the adults play their gift game and usually the girls get a little more intense then the boys but this year they beat us! The kids got lots of great gifts from everyone and we had a great time visiting! Thank you everyone for the gifts we a truly blessed with amazing an amazing family!
Makenna Faith Ware!
My brother Jim and his wife had there baby girl on dec 16th she is such a cutie! They all seem to be doing very well I think the adjustment period is getting better!
Mood gardens!
So every year I have always wanted to take the kids to see the festival of lights! So we decided to go this year with Adam, Nicole, Adeline, Baylor and all of us! We took the kids to eat at rainforest cafe (food is not worth it) but the scenery was great for the kids! So then we went to moody gardens got there and started walking down the trail and Justin said Theresa i really hope this gets better and i was like yes sure it will this can't be all this is hahaha guess what it was we are not at all impressed by it and honestly I don't think the kids were either! Like our brother in law said we could have rode around and looked at lights on houses better then that! The snow for kids to play in was not even very fun for them! But we did enjoy the company of all of us together we don't see them very much so it was very nice! Making a note for next year not to go back!
Carter's 5th birthday!
Wow our Carter is 5! He has been looking so forward to turning five! He always tells us that when he turns five he will be able to ride his bike without training wheels, ride the four wheeler, tie his shoes, ect ect! He had a friend over and he told carter he could ride his bike without training wheels and carter looked at him and said no you can't your not five yet! I honestly have no idea what made him think everything happens at five! We had a great day with family and friends thank you to everyone that came and celebrated his day! We had cake, chili, and a jumper and lots of his friends from school! He had a blast! He got lots of clothes, monster trucks, football, a bb gun and lots of "one dollars bills"!
December
Where did this month go to?? We have had such a great Christmas this year! We enjoyed the holidays with the kids so much! I am sure some have heard about our elf "buddy" our family had so much fun with him the kids loved him! He was slightly mischievous on a couple of occasions, he wrapped our Christmas tree, he had a marshmallow fight with the kids toys, he wrapped the kids doors in wrapping paper, he got into our sugar and made a snow angel, but all in all we had a lot of fun with him our kids would light up every morning when they found him! We left christmas morning forms our deer lease in west Texas for nine days and when we returned Braden realized Buddy was gone he cried and cried he was very very sad he missed him! So that was tough watching him get so upset that it made us miss him to it is so amazing what we get attached to with out kids! Sounds kinda cheesy but we just really had alot of fun with him as a family!
